Poconos International Raceway
Poconos International Raceway is the old name for what is now called just Poconos Raceway. Apart from the NASCAR
races, Pocono International Raceway is used throughout the year by Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and motorcycle
clubs as well as by racing schools. The rounded triangular track of the Poconos International Raceway also has
three separate infield sections of racetrack - North Course, East Course and South Course, each of which uses a
separate section of the tri-oval to complete the track.
Poconos Raceway
Pocono Raceway is the new name for the Pocono International Raceway. It is also sometimes known as the Tricky
Triangle. Pocono Raceway is a super speedway located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania at Long Pond and is
the meeting place for two annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, which are held in June and August, and one NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series event in July. Pocono Raceway is one of a very few NASCAR tracks not owned by either
Speedway Motorsports, Inc. or International Speedway Corporation.
Poconos Rentals
There are plenty of Poconos rentals available all year round. There are beautiful skiing resorts which
specialize in families and in singles, in forest skiing and down hill or just skateboarding. The Poconos rentals
are stunning in the world-famous Poconos Fall when the woods and mountains take on all the browns, reds and russets
that there are. In the warmer months, there are Poconos rentals and lodges to be had on the shores of beautiful
lakes or in the middle of woodlands.
Poconos Camping
The Poconos is a great place for camping and there are many Poconos camping sites available. There are private
Poconos camping sites and those dedicated to special groups. For example, there are Poconos camping sites owned by
both the Boy Scout and the Girl Guides movements. There are also several Jewish summer camps and even a summer camp
which specializes in providing for children with type 1 diabetes.
